By signing this publication agreement, I grant the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz the non-exclusive (simple) rights of use, free of charge and unlimited in terms of space and time, to reproduce the relevant work and all supplementary formal- and content-description data provided on the servers of CrossAsia and the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz, to multiply and permanently store it electronically, to distribute it and to make it publicly accessible as a digital publication on the Internet free of charge and to integrate it into the various services of CrossAsia. In the course of making the works publicly available, third parties are permitted to use and reproduce the works published on CrossAsia exclusively for academic, private and other personal use (§§ 53, 60c, 60d UrhG). In particular for purposes of long-term digital archiving, the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz is entitled to make technical changes to the format of the file(s) supplied by me as well as to fulfill its delivery obligations for net publications to the German National Library (§ 16 DNBG). All other exploitation rights remain unaffected by this, including the right to grant an Open-Content-License.

With your (digital) signature, you confirm that you are authorized to grant the listed rights of use to the corresponding work to the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz, and that its publication on CrossAsia and the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin does not violate any legal regulations or the rights of third parties. In particular, in the case of collective works, you affirm that you, as the signing publisher, have obtained permission from the authors involved to use their contributions in the manner explained above. You undertake to indemnify the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz against all claims of third parties, and affirm that you have obtained the consent of all persons involved in its creation, to use the respective work based on this declaration. As the author (or publisher) of the work in question, you will inform the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz without delay if alleged or actual infringements of the rights of third parties for which you are responsible are asserted.
